Updated Leave Donation Policy

The Commissioners approved a new Leave Donation Policy that will allow employees to voluntarily donate additional leave (vacation, sick, personal) to eligible co-workers who need paid leave due to a serious illness or injury involving the co-worker or a member of their immediate family.

The change allows employees to donate up to 480 hours of unused time, provided they maintain a minimum sick leave balance of 120 following the donation. The previous policy allowed a maximum of 80 hours to be donated.
