Overview

The Lucas County Department of Workforce Development offers services to help employers and job seekers. We work with different organizations like government, non-profits, and businesses to coordinate and keep track of the one-stop system. This system aims to support workforce and economic development. Our agency collaborates with service providers to assist job seekers in finding good jobs, help employed workers find better opportunities, and aid businesses in finding skilled employees. We serve everyone, from people looking for their first job to those in executive positions. We also cater to both small businesses and large corporations.

The Lucas County Workforce Development Board is a group of leaders from businesses, education, labor, and community organizations. They guide the decisions and activities of our department, ensuring that we meet the needs of our community and workforce.
