Toledo Botanical Garden inspires and nurtures the joy of growing through stewardship of horticulture, the arts and nature. The Garden features more than 60 acres of display gardens and relevant plant collections, along with a two-acre urban farm, and is full of life, beauty, tranquility and opportunities for exploration, learning and reflection. Open free to the public, Toledo Botanical Garden is the only botanical garden in this region, and is visited by more than 120,000 people annually. Its urban agriculture center supports over 125 community gardens in the region. Volunteers are the life-blood of the Garden, staffing special events and providing daily assistance in horticulture, annual and perennial varieties and urban farming.
