Autopsy on the body of Dashawn Cotton, a 19-year-old, black male, was performed on July 17, 2025, at the Lucas County Coroner’s Office.
The autopsy revealed a stab wound to the chest resulting in fatal injury to the heart.
The cause of death is stab wound to the heart.
The manner of death is homicide.
