Which communities have a 9-1-1 dispatch center?
The cities of Toledo, Maumee, Oregon, Sylvania, and Maumee, the Village of Ottawa Hills, and Sylvania Township all have a 9-1-1 dispatch center. The Lucas County Sheriff’s Office answers and dispatches 9-1-1 calls for all other unincorporated communities.

How do I get a job as a dispatcher?
Lucas County 9-1-1 does not directly employ dispatchers. Persons interested in a position as a 9-1-1 call taker/dispatcher need to contact any of the seven 9-1-1 dispatch centers.
3.
How long are 9-1-1 records stored?
9-1-1 computer aided dispatch (CAD) transcripts are stored for seven (7) years. 9-1-1 audio recordings are stored for 30 days.
