What is the cost to file for a Divorce, Legal Separation, or Dissolution?
The filing fee for all three is $ 200.00.

Does it cost more if there are minor children involved?
Yes it does. The filing fee for all three with minor children involved is $ 250.00.

What about a motion for consent parenting for a dissolution of marriage?
This will require an additional deposit of $ 50.00.

Are there other fees associated with Divorce, Dissolution, Legal Separations and Annulments?
Quite possibly. Go to our website home page and click Goverment/Clerk of Courts/Legal Divisions/Domestic Relations. Scroll down to Local Rules and click on the link. This will provide you with a listing of all fees.

Am I required to have an attorney file all necessary paperwork for a divorce, dissolution, legal separation or annulment?
No, however we strongly recommend you speak with an attorney. The court system cna be complicated and confusing to someone not familiar with the practice of law.

Can your office advise me on what I need to do with regards to my case?
Our employees are forbidden by law to dispense legal advice to anyone. We can provide you the necessary forms and paperwork, and answer some basic questions of a non-legal nature. Again we strongly recommend you speak to an attorney.
