Instructions for Filing a New Complaint(Civil)

Please note: When filing new Complaints, we need the original and one (1)
copy for the court, a copy to serve to each defendant, and any additional
copies you would like returned to you – along with a self-addressed stamped
envelope large enough to hold the returned documents.
A Case Designation form must be included in order to file a new Complaint.
If this form is not provided, your Complaint will be sent back to you. There
will be no exceptions.
Please note: When filing documents with our court, we need the original and
one (1) copy of every document filed (and any additional copies that you
would like returned to you, along with a self-addressed stamped envelope
large enough to hold the returned documents).
- All pleadings mailed into our office must have a self-addressed
stamped envelope included. Otherwise, it could cause a delay in
the return of pleadings.
- The security deposit (or an Affidavit of Indigency to request the
waiver of the security deposit) must be filed with each new
complaint.
