SHERIFF SALE DEPOSIT REQUIRMENT EFFECTIVE JUNE 1, 2008
If you are the successful bidder, a deposit of 5% of the appraised value is due IMMEDIATELY upon acceptance of your bid. Where the appraised value is less than Fifteen Thousand Dollars, a minimum deposit of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00) is required. Where the property has not been appraised, a deposit of 10% of the starting bid is required, with a minimum of $750.00 or paid in full, whichever is appropriate.
YOU MUST have your money with you at the time you are
bidding. NO ONE will be allowed to leave and return at a
later time to pay their deposit. REMEMBER
- if you do not have your money with you, don't bid.
