Oversize permits are required for any vehicles whose loaded height, weight, or length is larger
than what is normally allowed under the Ohio Revised Code. These permits are required before such
vehicles will be allowed to operate on county and township roads, alleys highways, or other public
places. Application forms for this permit may be obtained at the Lucas County Engineer’s Office at
213-4540 or by writing to the Lucas County Engineer’s Office, One Government Center, Suite 870,
Toledo, Ohio 43604-2258.
