Map Image Appears To Show Incorrect Image

Symptoms :
The map shows the incorrect area, and the wrong parcel may also appear selected.
Cause :
Every image created by the map server is assigned a number. When the map
server is started this number is reset to 1, so the first image the map server
creates may be mapimage1.jpg. If your browser has caching turned on, and
already has a mapimage1.jpg in the cache from a previous use of AREIS
Online, it may display the cached image instead of the new image.
Resolution :
Turn caching off. Use the instructions below to do this.
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 - Select Internet Options from the View
menu. Click on Settings under Temporary Internet Files. On the Settings dialog
select the 'Every visit to the page' option.
- Netscape Navigator 4.5 - Select Preferences from the Edit menu. Expand the
Advanced option in the tree view and click on Cache. Set both the memory and
disk cache to 0 bytes. Also clear both cache's.
